Burgers that push the edge away from fast food towards casual dining, with thick fries and their signature frozen custard shakes. The custard is smoother than a typical shake, whether you like it thick ("concrete ") out thinner, and their butter burger with cheddar and all the trimmings is one of my all time favorite burgers. This location has had our service twice, and each time was clean and excellent at the desk. Once one of the workers was down-talking the business to a cute girl he had his eye on, which was disappointing.

The butter burger! For a fast food joint, I'm a fan of Culvers. Great burgers, custard, and fried cheese curds. Service is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I've not had problems with crowds at the Spanish Fork location, but the one in American Fork...or Lehi...can get packed at busy meal times!

Two essential bits of information a reader should know prior to reading this review: 1. I am not a beef-eater/burger fan. Most beef, in particular fast food beef, does not tend to like me, and therefore I tend not to like it back. I usually opt for anything other than a burger. 2. I ate the Culver's while sick, with few taste buds operational. More on this later. Due to certain extraordinary circumstances, this day I was craving a burger. And my sick and tired (and lazy) ass didn't want to venture too far from my bed, nor leave the comfort of my car to get it. Culver's seemed to fit the bill. I've been interested for a while to see if there is anything noteworthy about their food, or truth to their advertising - beef: fresh, never frozen, custard: always fresh-frozen. I pulled up to Culver's drive-through board located alongside one of the few relatively easy places to get in and out of in this area of Spanish Fork. It's become a spaghetti bowl of confusion that seems to be getting worse as development in the area expands. Culver's got a good spot. After working out my order with the nice voice on the other end of the speaker, I pull up to the window, pay, and she reaches out and hangs a tent-number on my car door handle. "Now, don't you go pullin' away quite yet," she says with a wink. "Oh, don't you worry - I don't have my food yet, you see," I reply inside my head. What the H E double toothpicks...? Why do I need a number if I'm just sitting here at the pick-up window? I'm so confused. But whatever. Here's what I'm looking forward to eating as I sit here wondering what the hell is up: a single Butter-Burger with cheese, fries (the thick-cut crinkle variety), fry sauce (that I'm handed separately even prior to paying), and a chocolate banana concrete shake. The shake comes out first, pretty quickly. The voice behind it said that I should pull forward to a waiting spot for the remainder of my order. As I complied, the rest of my order showed up through my window. I waited exactly zero minutes. I drove home quick as a bunny, looking forward to diving in and seeing what flavor, if any, my lame taste buds could detect of this bounty. The shake, of course, needed to be sampled on the commute. "Thick" is the first descriptor. Man, this thing had some body. The one-handed spoon dip while driving wasn't possible. More purposeful tactics had to be employed. Well worth the extra effort - they're not kidding when they say "chocolate." It's flavored with Hershey's chocolate syrup, which I happen to like. It's a good mix for the chocolate lover, like myself, and had just the right amount of chunky banana bits in it. My initial hesitation to dive right in comes from #1 above. The burger patty itself was not small, nor thin. It was substantial, and appeared to be fresh grilled. The flavor was actually very good, coming through nicely since I could taste it. I ordered it with everything, and it was all there. Nothing appeared to have gone through chemo, and the taste reflected the same freshness and flavor. I wasn't unimpressed. I was enjoying it! I even enjoyed the fries, which was unexpected, as I'm typically not a crinkle-fry fan. These were thicker-cut than most crinkle fries, however, and had nice potato flavor. The fry sauce was pretty standard, and came in a little peel-open cup. I think it's either Sysco's or Nicholas' fry sauce. But they gave me two, without me asking. So, points. All in all, it fit my burger bill to a T when I needed it most. I'll certainly return when I get another craving for beef that won't bite me back.

I like Culvers.. You have to know what to order. The custard is their best option. They put too much salt on their hamburgers or they would be fine. Also you have to make sure to tell them what you want on your burgers or they come with nothing. The fish and chicken are just ok nothing special.

Quick evaluation: slightly better than average burgers, sides, and shakes at slightly higher prices. Onions are the bane of my hamburger experience, so when I get onions after ordering none, I asked for a replacement burger. When it comes to bending over backwards to make sure someone is happy the assistant manager here was incredible. All I wanted was a new burger with no onions. He gave me the original burger back (so someone else could eat it), made a new burger for me, and gave me a token for a free shake or desert. That was above and beyond if you ask me. Great service. Just my opinion, but I think the other 1 star reviewers may need to re-evaluate how bad an experience needs to be to actually deserve 1 star. (IMO it is suspicious that each of the 1 star reviewers have only one review on Yelp.)

Hmm...I must be missing something, I've eaten here 3 times and still it ain't all that great. I prefer JCW's. I ordered the mushroom Swiss double burger and it was SUPER greasy. Never tried custard ice cream, until Culver's, and I'm sticking with ice cream or even yogurt! Way too many teenagers working here....that wouldn't be so bad if they weren't all buddies and always messing around. So sorry I give 2 stars.

I ate their fish sandwich combo. It was great while I was eating it, but then not but about 30 minutes it wasn't agreeing with me. :( I like their custard, it's not really sweet, so when you add the candy it makes it just right, though they could have added a little bit more candy into the one I ordered. The SF location is still new so the workers are still really friendly and the facility is well kept.

I'm not sure about some of the other reviews I've seen on here. The guy posting about dry, salty, flavorless burgers must be a competitor. I was first introduced to Culver's when I lived in Lehi. Their hamburger meat is definitely at the top of my list for flavor. After moving far south of Lehi, I was excited to see the new Culver's coming to SF. The restaurant's name preceded it. The first time visiting, the lines were crazy long, but people were willing to wait 20+ minutes to order good food. I love their pastrami burger. I like that you can double or triple the size of your favorite burger. Fries are similar to other restaurants, but they compliment the meal well. I love Culver's burgers. Great place to eat IMHO

It is a little upsetting that you tell a business that you will serve them food and don't follow up with it 2 times in a row that is not good service for a restaurant and why you only get one star.

Did the drive through. Haven't seen the inside. The food was top quality fast food. Burger was made with fresh ingredients. Fries were cooked just right and the sauce was great. That said, I didn't feel the extra two or three dollars for my meal were solidly justified. If you are a fast food connoisseur, this is the restaurant for you. From the quality of the service and the polished appearance of the outside, I am guessing this is a very clean and well kept establishment.

This place is great! The ice cream is awesome, and the cheese curds are highly recommended. If you are there and get the cheese curds, get a large you will regret getting a medium because you won't want them to end. the onion rings are really good too... I haven't tried anything else, but i have eaten these things multiple times, if these items are any indication as to what the rest of the food tastes like, they won't disappoint!!

Give this one a chance to work out the kinks, they just opened. Having grown up in Wisconsin, I've missed Culver's ever since I moved west. Great CUSTARD! It's not ice cream, so it won't taste like ice cream. I also love the onion rings and the cheddar butter burger!

After paying at the drive up window, they had me pull to the side to wait another ten minutes for my food. After finally getting it, we rightfully so, checked the order. It was missing one of the sandwiches and fries from a value meal. Just as I was pulling away to go inside, I see a girl running out the door with another bag. She handed it to me and ran off. I checked the bag and the fries were still missing. I yelled out to her but she didn't hear me before flying back in the door. So, in I go to retrieve me lost order of French fries. Why did I choose the drive thru again? Finally, with my order complete, we headed home. I sit down and unwrap my burger and it literally looked like one of those joke burgers that you see in the movies, where the actor compares his smashed flat, limp burger to the big picture of same named beautiful, appetizing burger on the restaurant wall. Well, not surprisingly, the taste matched the looks. This was the worst burger I've ever eaten. They make Micky D's look utterly gourmet. There was also no semblance of heat to the nearly cold burger, and the drive home was less than 1.5 miles. At least the long lost Krinkle cut fries were halfway decent. This place is just another crappy burger chain. Support those little mom and pop shops, they are usually gems in the rough.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but that is not an option. For the people that think I work for a competitor, that is not the case. For the people that say they just opened and give them a chance; I did that too. I have tried the place 4 times in hopes to have an amazing experience. The only thing that was amazing was... my wait, 30 minutes for two shakes( I could have gone to Costco bought ice cream and Oreos, gone home and had ice cream that wasn't melted, and for nine bucks for the two shakes they should be perfect, COME ON!) I was amazed that they could screw up an order ( same one twice, every time they have gotten the order wrong, maybe I mumbled). I was amaze d the service could be so bad. I was amazed that the people behind the counter dropped stuff into the ice cream and wipe their hands on their filthy pants and continue to make more shakes (how is that okay? ) I am amazed that I gave it four tries. There won't be a fifth. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Ate here Friday at 5:00 PM. Started to get busy with the after work crowd. Counter help was friendly. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our food (two burgers and a kids meal.) I understand they are new and busy because of that, so I'll give them a pass on the wait, and it really didn't upset me to wait that long knowing the circumstances. I asked for extra pickle and got one on top of the bun. Wife asked for no pickle and got one on top of the bun. Bugers were good, but just "good". Nothing remarkable about them. I'd rather have eaten an In N Out buger or a Smashburger. The onion rings were really good. The Cement custard was really good. I think I'd come back for the ice cream custard, but would probably go else where for a meal. A little more expensive than other bugers joints, which affects my decision on trying somewhere else.

Very dry, flavorless burgers. Fry sauce isn't very good. Burger patty is small for the price. Vegetables are very good onions are very potent. I won't be back, it's like a very bad Arctic Circle restaurant
